It can be used to drive a 1:43 scale car onto the platform; pulled up on an "L-shaped bracket" to the roof for roof-top parking. A notch in the bracket holds the platform in place for disembarking. There is a down ramp to exit from the roof.
Next to the elevator is a repair bay. It is open to allow vehicles to move in and out freely.Lastly is a wash pit. Amongst all of this, are accessories found in service stations of that era. Gasoline pumps, a lubricator pump, oil can rack, tire air pump, floor jack, toilet, a bathroom sink, radiator water can, tire air pump and three attendants in various stages of pose. This would be a fantastic toy for a collector of 1:43 scale vehicles to display some of their collection.
I have added a few of my own Franklin Mint vehicles to demonstrate my point. NOTE: they are included in this sale. This is great item for the "Baby Boomer" who remembered his or wanted one.
