Here's a great looking near complete MARX-#3628 play-set based on the popular T. Series of the 1950's, Rin Tin Tin. The set contents include figures of Rusty, Lt. Rip McMasters, cowboys, Indians, fencing, block houses, Fort Apache gate, teepee. The box has a few areas but displays nicely(pieces included to repair front of box).
This is the set with 2 sets of 60mm stockade Indians. This would give the set total of 20 Indians instead of 14 in set #3627. But This set comes with TWENTY EIGHT early yellow Indians. ONE tan Indian with bow and ball&chain equaling 3 Indians with bow& ball&chain.ONE tan Indian crawling with tomahawk and knife, equaling three crawling Indians with tomahawk and knife. ONE gray standing shooting Indian w/rifle. The ONE yellow Indian w/the arrow shot is complete, not broken.
ONE red wall scaling Indian with club, equaling THREE wall scaling Indians with club. Naturally the figures in cream are: Rin Tin Tin, Rusty, Lt.All of which are in mint condition. I keep these figures in tissue paper and a separate box. 4 horses include 2 60mm Calvary saddle & reigns (included in the #3627) 1 chasing & standing Indian pony, 1 cream, 1 brown. Fort Apache stockade was the focal point of the set, and its in mint condition. It includes front gate, with "Fort Apache" nameplate, a pair of doors, 11 wall sections, 2 6-piece corner block houses.
There are 4 double pole ladders with no steps broken, in mint condition. All the pieces are the early, flat medium brown-colored plastic.The tin 3 piece cabin is complete and in mint condition with the rear wire support. The large 1 7/8 2 piece black stove pipe chimney with rad cap is in mint condition, and sits confidently, not loose. Accessories include the standard stockade pieces, one each : anvil on stump, 2-piece dip well, ax in stump. 2-piece campfire with pot, log pile, butter churn, and 2 powder kegs. Colors vary from set to set and included gray, light brown and dark brown.
Set comes with the standard firing cannon(black) with firing pin, and it is in mint condition, kept in tissue paper. Set Also comes with a secondary small firing canon, not plastic, metal, with plastic wheels, it is also mint. Also, 60mm early-issue yellow hard plastic teepee, in mint condition. Set includes 20-star tin-litho flag w/gray HP pole and rock pile base, also mint. Set includes all 12 original 60mm U.
All complete no broken limbs or weapons. Set also includes Fort Apache Stockade assembly instructions, in good condition. Minimal wear for a 69 year old toy play set instruction sheet. On the "Assembly of Accessories" side, bottom left corner, the left quadrant of the page looks to have minor sunshade.
Box is a solid C-8. The item comes with'Plastic Figure & Playset Collector #60'Rin Tin Tin' April 1999 Marketplace magazine. It is in NM condition. I think that is everything.
Most times when I list a play set, I come back and revise as things come to mind. But this looks complete minus the top of the yellow TeePee, and the bullets for the cannon. I have boxed, and weighed the item prior to listing. If you have any questions or concerns, please DM me.
