This is an original Marx Carry-All play set that is incomplete and includes a mixture of original Marx Fort Apache and Marx Alamo/Frontiersmen figures and accessories. Everything included is shown in the photographs. Please review all photos carefully to determine completeness and condition.

Offered is a vintage Louis Marx & Co. Carry-All Action Fort Apache Play Set, Style No. 4885, complete with its original lithographed carrying case that unfolds into a detailed western frontier fort. Unlike many examples, this set contains a desirable mixture of original Marx Fort Apache and Marx Alamo/Frontiersmen figures, making it especially attractive to Marx collectors.

Several of the figures appear to be from the Marx Alamo series, including sought-after frontiersmen that are collectible in their own right. The colorful lithographed carry case opens into a large frontier fort featuring printed stockade walls, headquarters/stable building, opening entrance gate, guard towers, and western scenery. Some edge and corner wear to the lithographed case. Some figures and accessories are from other Marx western play sets, including the Alamo series.
