This vintage HAPPI-TIME SEARS CIVIL WAR CENTENNIAL PLAY SET TOY 1861-65 No. 5929 Year 1961-62 is in good condition for its age. This set was made 100 years (1961) after the civil war had started. It features 250 pieces total pieces, of which roughly half are the blue & gray soldier figures (I did not do a count). It also features a redoubt, tents, cannons, horses, bridge, flags, fences, mounds, trees, as well as many other smaller pieces. Most of the pieces are intact, although some of the figures have broken limbs, rifles, flag etc. There are many different types of cannons, not sure which ones are correct for this playset, as obviously many extras are included.

Don't know if any of the cannons fire, or if any other piece has any action to it. Also included are 3 figures in light pale yellow - Abe Lincoln, General Grant and Jeff Davis, and all have their names imprinted on the bottom of their pedestals. The box is in fair to good shape at best - has a fair amount of shelf wear, front flap has been cut off, has tears and splits here and there, one side of the box is torn off (4"x5" section), and is somewhat dusty. Box bottom is pretty much intact. Graphics are very attractive though.
