Vintage 1960s Marx Miniature Playset Knights & Castle with Box & Play Mat L@@K jf

From a recent estate comes this VINTAGE Marx Miniature Playset - Knights & Castle Set. This play set is the Marx miniature Knights and Castle set. Made in the 1960s, the set consists of hard plastic figures which are nicely hand-painted. 12 x 8.5 x 3.5 in.

The 33 warriors are all between 1 to 2 inches tall. The 8 horses also measure approx. They are all in really nice condition for being 50+ years old. The horses and riders all look good. Four soldiers have an opening in their hands to place a joust - which the play set comes with (4 attachable jousts). The castle has all parts and fits together nicely on the base. It even has the three pennants for the tops of the structures. The base looks to be crack/chip-free. The box has some wear - see pictures to judge condition. The play set does include the original play mat to place the set on (as seen in the photos). Also includes the multiple original trees and catapult with projectiles. The string on the drawbridge is original to the set but is broken in one spot, can be fixed (still the original string, just torn at one spot).
