Vintage 1960s Louis Marx Noah's Ark - Swansea, Wales - 20 Animal Figures. Offered is an uncommon vintage Louis Marx & Co. Noah's Ark playset, identified as the larger British version produced by Marx's Swansea, Wales operation.

54mm Color: Brown / Yellow / Gray / Cream Condition: Used. This distinctive version features a dark brown molded-plastic ark with removable yellow deck, yellow "NOAH'S ARK" lettering, decorative curled bow/stern ends and concealed rolling wheels. Inside the hull, the recessed wheel areas form molded storage compartments marked "FEED" and "WATER" - a distinctive feature associated with the Swansea Marx Noah's Ark. Included are approximately 20 molded plastic animal figures in gray and cream/yellow. Many are matching pairs in corresponding molds and include giraffes, zebras, camels, crocodiles/alligators, sheep, bison/cattle and several large-cat/animal figures.

Believed to date from approximately the 1960s. This is an incomplete/partial playset. The original upper cabin/roof structure, loading ramp, human figures, original box and additional accessories are not included.

The ark and figures show normal vintage play and storage wear including scuffs, scratches, marks and age-related discoloration. Overall, it remains an attractive and unusual example for a Marx Toys, vintage plastic playset, biblical toy or Noah's Ark collector.
