VINTAGE 1950's MARX PET SHOP TIN LITHO METAL PLAYSET #4210 COMPLETE with BOX RARE

This vintage Marx Pet Shop playset #4210 from the early 1950's comes complete with the original box. This collectible playset features fences, tree, cages, crates, kennels, front window display pens, runway, monkeys, dogs, birds, parrot, rabbits, and more. There were no instructions, but in checking the Marx reference guide the only piece that may be missing is the aquarium. What's really wonderful about this set is the excellent condition of the building, the wide of accessories, the Marx family figures, and the original box. The detailed lithographed building is sturdy, bright and shinny, with the original plastic windows intact. There are a few very small remnants of clear tape on a couple areas of the building (we didn't want to risk removing them) and a very minor crease in the roof. The only flaw in all the accessories we can find is a chipped fence footing on one of the two white fences.

The original box is in very nice condition, as can be seen in the pictures. The box is sturdy with one small piece of masking tape from original packaging, a few minor stains, and no cardboard inserts. For a 65+ year old box with the presence of normal shelf aging, the colors and graphics on the are clear.
