VERY RARE "Prehistoric Adventure Playset" rather than the more common (but still hard to find) "Land of the Dinosaurs" Playset.

All of the Toy Street playsets were called "Land of the Dinosaurs, " and it's characterized by the 4 cardboard standup mountain/volcano pieces (all different) rather than the recast Marx or MPC terrain pieces. It also did not come with a vinyl playmat, unlike the Land of the Dinosaurs sets. The 8 trees were MPC recasts, and the dinos were a mix of Marx and MPC recasts. The 12 cavemen were Marx recasts. The dinosaur, caveman, and tree count and assortment were the same as in the more traditional "Land of the Dinosaurs" sets (Marx recasts of the Large & Medium Mold Groups and MPC recasts of 4 of the MPC dinos).

The Marx recasts were Tyrannosaurus, Brontosaurus, Kronosaurs (the Marx Large Mold Group) and the Trachodon, Allosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Pteranodon, Hadrosaurus, and Stegosaurus (the Marx Medium Mold Group). The 4 MPC dinos used were the Plateosaurus, Dimetrodon, Cynognathus, and Pteranodon. There were TWO sets of the MPC dinos included, which makes 8 MPC dinos total, 2 of each.

Interestingly, this gives both the Marx and MPC Pteranodon in the same playsets, and unusual occurrence. It's a fairly rare Toy Street set, much less common than the other two "Land of the Dinosaurs" playsets. Included: - (17) Ferocious Dinosaurs - (1) "Pot Belly" Tyrannosaurus Rex? - (3) Pteranodon (1 Marx Recast & 2 MPC Recasts) - (12) Stone Age Cavemen.
