Rare 1966 Marx Sears All State Fort Apache Play Set Box No. This is the smaller of the Giant Fort Apache sets that Sears offered in 1966 replacing the 6059 set from 1964 and 1965. Box is rough (missing flap on open end) but extremely rare.

It appears that all of the key pieces are there including six long coat Cavalry with twenty pioneers; 26 Indians; complete wagon with driver intact whip; falling horse & rider; pack mule team; 10 Cavalry horses; two Indian ponies; firing cannon; two teepees & totem poles; one split tree line; camp accessories, and; complete Fort. The figures have a surprisingly good color match with the correct transitional copper color Indians; short pedestal kneeling pioneer, and; dark brown steel building accessories; all introduced in 1966.
