Up for your consideration is this great 1961 Marx GIANT Blue & Gray Battle Set Civil War Play Set. This set is the real original deal.

Comes with over 280 pcs. I know this is probably not complete but I would say it is close to 95%. Included, 56 Blue Soldiers, 66 Gray Soldiers, 1 Ammo Wagon Kasson, 1 Dead Tree, 4 PC FENCE, 3 tree stumps, Tents 2 large 6 small, 4 gray rocks, 2 brown rocks, 2 dark brown sandbag barriers, 1 large Cannon Barrier, 6 trees, 1 house, 1 front porch, 2 flags, 2 flag poles 2 bases, 4 main characters, Abe Lincoln, Grant, Lee and Davis, 7 mounted horses, 1 bucking horse and 1 rider, 1 dead horse, 1 ambulance wagon, 1 bombed house, 4 horses that pull wagons, 1 Bridge, 4 Cannons, 1 Exploding Bunker (NOTE all pieces are there I just did not realize the other how it worked initially the other two pieces ARE THERE), 2 cots, 2 stick barriers, 2 broken wagon wheels, 1 crate of guns, 2 leaning gun tripods, Over 80. This is a used set and may be missing some pieces.

Also some of the small pieces may have damage - from what I could tell most of the items are fine. Only thing I noticed was a horse tack item had a few broken off pieces and one of the flag poles have the tab that fit into the base broken can be glued.

Box is in terrible shape and taped up. But it is the original box.
