Marx Vintage 1959 Alaska Play Set WithBox A Classic & Rarest Of Collectible Sets

I have given a quite elaborate description above and provided 12 photos as what you see is what you get!! This set is all original including all the plastic figures as well as the box.

It also seems many pieces were not always a single dark brown color but none of the pieces offered are reproductions based on Marx Company photos. No yellow No silver No navy blue No orange No green reproductions to be seen here!!! If you understand that the most important pieces are present you will not be disappointed. It is time for me to move on and let a new owner enjoy this "Rarest of all Marx Play sets". A statement that was made by a serious Marx tin play set collector a number of years ago on his website.

A statement that is even more relevant in 2019. Not sure when the P. Sticker was added on the rear flap by the previous owner!! A complete/correct miner with lantern has been added to the set.

One "extra" miner/prospector with gun is also added now (three in all). Both are not pictured but will be sent to the new owner. There are now 31 Eskimos and Miners to display!!
