It had to be the full Marx Service station with elevator and it had to be the Allstate version! Well, of course, because that is the one I had when I was young! I have not seen one exactly like this in years and years. This original vintage service center with the elevator is in great condition.
The elevator motor appears to be there, but placing in modern batteries does not cause it to run. If you repair tin toys you should be able to get this working. I have had this for over 20 years and I have decided to part with it! THIS was a favorite toy when I was young. Not many of this item in this condition are available. It is a fun piece to display. As you probably can tell, I really don't want to sell this item! It was a favorite toy of mine "back in the day" -- However, I keep promising myself that I would get rid of some of my collectibles.
At least I THINK I'll get rid of it... NOTE: ALL the cars, signage and people shown ARE INCLUDED!! PHOTOS MUST BE VIEWED TO SEE WHAT THIS ITEM IS LIKE.
He hook on the tow truck is missing and the floor is bent on the 2nd floor by the EXIT sign.
