Marx Motor City Auto Transport in box with Truck, Corvette Car in Box

Many items have been added to my personal collection. Most pieces are in EXCELLENT to MINT condition, never played with, and often times factory flat!!!

In the next few months I will be listing several items that were on display at the Marx Toy Museum in West Virginia. Marx Motor City Auto Transport. This month we are listing a few really nice metal Trucks and Cars that has been on display at the Marx Toy Museum in West Virginia for almost 20 years.

The metal Truck and cab are in excellent condition, comes with all great hub caps and the decals are in beautiful condition. As you can see by looking at the pictures, there is some wear where the trailer hooks into the tractor and on the roof of the tractor you can see some darker areas under the paint. Those darker areas were there when I bought the toy 20 years ago and they still look the same now as they did back then. My conclusion is, that this is the way it came from the factory. When you rub your finger over that area it is nice and smooth (not really much of a problem).

You also get three (3) plastic cars , two (2) Thunderbirds and one (1) corvette. The cars are also in excellent condition and they measure around 8 inches long each. Two of the cars have boxes that are in excellent condition and the big box the holds the toy is included. The Auto Transport box is complete with all the flaps and looks like most of the inserts. The box shows some water stains but nothing that hurts the strength of the box.

Overall I would rate the box a C 7.5. You may see some white spots or areas, That is dried up wax.
