MARX/MEGO Original oil painting GUNS of NAVARONE Playset by Uldis Klavins

The painting has been framed in a spectacular fashion but it has not been displayed, only sitting inside storage for several years. The painting is protected by UV museum-quality glass and is in superb shape. The painting and framing is approximately 32" x 42" but I can not be sure, since it is in storage. You can probably judge for yourself: the television in the background is 45" high and 38" wide. This original piece of art was used by Mego with their Battle of Navarone playset in 1981.

You can see a picture of the box if you do a search. The playset was much like the Marx set, but the mountain was in black. This has been in my collection for a long time, but now it can be in yours, a piece of playset history.
