MARX BATTLE OF THE BLUE & GRAY. This exciting lot contains the 1961 Marx Sears GIANT Battle of the Blue & Gray Play Set. This set is numbered 4764, and it was available only for 1961 and 1962 and was contained in its unique Giant Box.

This Very Good set, is in its ORIGINAL BOX with dividers, should be complete EXCEPT for the paints, paint brush, and pistol. It's not just complete, but it's correct!

LOOK AT PICTURES CAREFULLY AS THERE IS SO MUCH TO SEE!!! ALL FIGURES ARE ACCOUNTED FOR, INCLUDING THE 3 FLAG BEARERS FOR EACH SIDE - NO SHORT BAYONETS - NO BROKEN FIGURES! Maybe you can see something I missed, but these ORIGINAL and Matched figures are in Very Good condition.

It is normal for some of these figures to have slightly bent bayonets or rifles, as long as the figure is complete. The Medical Wagon does have Reproduction wheels, axle, and tongue.

These pieces were missing from the wagon. It is possible that one or two Accessories may also be Reproduction, as some of the accessories in this set were missing when found, and required replacement. ORIGINAL PLAY SET BOX does have some water stains to the box lid, sides, and bottom, but considering that this is 50-60 year old cardboard box, it is still sturdy, in nice condition, and it displays nicely as well.
