Marx Flintstones Hunting Party COMPLETE! , great shape

Here's a rare one, folks, the Flintstones Hunting Party! In great condition, box is an easy C-8/C-9. As Marx collectors know, this is one of the rarest & most sought after of the Marx prehistoric sets, and hard to find in complete condition. You'd be hard pressed to find one in this good as shape. In the inside of the lid there are a few indentions like someone either poked a stick at it or the dinos weren't nestled in properly and the lid closed. In any case they do NOT go thru the box lid & cannot be seen when the lid is closed. All in all this is one of the best boxes I have seen. Even the X-shaped cardboard insert is here!

All 3 dinosaurs are here, as well as Fred & Barney. Tyrannosaurus- great shape, perfect actually. Rex, the body halves were glued together but the tail was not glued after being inserted, perhaps the original owner wanted the tail to be able to rotate.

Brontosaurus- the very tip of the tail obviously had broken off at some point and has been repaired (see picture). The break was very clean and the line is not really noticeable (looks worse in the picture).

Stegosaurus- there is a small hairline crack along the base of one of the back plates (see pic). Again, this looks worse in the pic, in real life it is hardly noticeable. Fred & Barney- perfect shape. This set does not become available very often, so don't miss this opportunity to grab one of the rarest Marx sets out there!
