MARX Exploding Submarine. Holy Grail Category

May I suggest that this could be one of the Holy Grails of Marx playsets? Here's a vintage, Marx, WWII, gray hard plastic, 8+ inch long exploding submarine with the complete mechanism. The one issue is that one of the tail fins is missing (photo 2) and the "181" decals are about 90-95% present, photos 5, 6 and 7. This came in just 2 different playsets, the 1961 Marine Beachhead # 4736 and the 1961 Cape Canaveral Missile Base # 4536 or by the Sears number, # 5935. I've included copies of the instructions for both playsets with the information on the sub in each.

I couldn't find any reference for the sub in PFPC but Playset Magazine has a nice article in issue # 37 from January/February 2008. The ruler and/or the quarter in the photos are meant for scale only and are not included in the listing. WAY TOO MUCH paper and work for you and me!
