HTF 1964 Boxed 1st Version Marx Ft. Apache #3681 w/ Lift-off Lid--99.9% Complete! Box bottom (with new custom divider) is nice and study.

The top is flimsier cardboard, which accounts for how often these are found in poor shape, when they are found at all. Box top has had puncture in center mended from the inside with clear tape. All four corners have been reinforced with clear tape as well. Paul must have loved this set back in 1964, because he wrote his name on both the box bottom and the lid. I've photographed everything in two ways--together and in separate shots.

I'm limited to 12 pics here, so let me know if have any questions or require more. Here are the contents: Original instructions, "tepee" bag, U. Cavalry Supply" tin litho building in nice shape with all tabs, all its reddish brown accessories and a good litho flag (bottom 1/8" of flagpole base has been nicely glued and fits into cupola nicely), 6 reddish brown wall without ramparts, 4 walls with ramparts (2 extra), 2 "L" walls, front gate (intact "feet") with both doors, 2 two-piece guard towers, 4 perfect ladders, complete set of outdoor stockade accessories (tips intact on dipwell and pot over fire) in nice colors (reddish brown, medium grey, and medium brown), flat tan two-piece tepee, non-firing cannon with some issues (missing "loop" on carriage, minor melt marks on wheels), 6 cavalry horses (3 flat brown, 3 flat black), flat cream Indian pony with intact reins, 3 complete sets of pioneer/cavalry defenders in flat powder blue (excellent condition with all weapons intact), 1 mixed set of 15 Indians in mixed waxy yellow and reddish brown (all weapons intact with no parted bowstrings, usually found in this mix of two colors these early #3681 sets), yellow tepee, and finally, 34 original small black Cavalry sprue accessories, all in excellent condition. Perfect to complete your Marx playset or vintage 1960's toy collection!
