This was given to me somewhere in the late 50's or early 60's. The cost (on the box) was 14.98 - a very expensive play set at that time.
From the pictures you can see that some parts are missing since I'm guessing that there would be an even amount of Blue and Gray soldiers? There are 57'Blue' and 68'Gray' soldiers in various poses. Interestingly, the'Gray' soldiers have more shot and injured poses. There is the top part of the exploding bunker but not the bottom, the flags/bases are there but missing one flag pole. The red cross wagon is complete with the extra boxes and items.Interestingly the small parts all see to be in-tact and still exist - see Pictures. The bridge is'repaired' but small bits are missing. There are a couple extra cannon that may have been later'add ons' by me. Only the front of the'estate' exists (white pillars).
There is no set up instructions so I'm not sure what should or should not be in the set to be a'complete' set. It is in very good shape for its age. It came out of my parents attic 15 years ago and made it to my basement. Time to go to someone whom will appreciate it.
