1960 Marx Suburban Colonial Metal Doll House in Box w Furniture & Acc inc Disney

1960 Marx Suburban Colonial Lithographed Metal Doll House. With Furniture & Accessories inc some Disney.

Be sure to check out my store for more doll house accessories. This set was produced a few years before or after 1960. The pieces are all in very good vintage condition.

Most of the original furniture and accessories are present and were found in their Marx paper bags as well. The bags are old pulp paper and in very poor condition but will be included as identifiers. I have gone through all the furniture/accessories and grouped them by room as best as I could. The original instructions for putting the house together using each piece's metal tabs are intact, and the reverse side has suggestions for decorating the rooms, which made IDing the accessories a lot easier.

There are a just a couple I couldn't find, but there are many extras that more than make up for it. You'll receive all of the following, which are also photographed. Metal house pieces - 12 pc.

In the photos you'll notice the unrolled chimney. Assembly Instruction / furniture placement double-sided sheet (pulp paper, tanned and shows age). Dining Room - 7 pc. The crib and playpen have the images of Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse, but the walls are traditional for the period and not Disney. The potty chair has one leg broken.

Utility Room - 8 pc. Living Room - 7 pc. Mickey Mouse appears on the teeter-totter. The Playground was not listed on the furniture side of the instruction sheet, and the writing on the bag is in yellow instead of the brown that the others are.

I think this may be an entire extra area. 2- Blue Marx living area pieces that I couldn't place.

Birdhouse/tiny dollhouse (finial missing- birdie or windvane probably). 4 - Stand-alone picket fence sections (3 are age-tanned). I don't know what it is but it was in the box!

Note: where accessories were two pieces put together to form one (such as the patio table/umbrella ensemble) I counted it as two pieces. I have not assembled the house and do not know the exact amount of original pieces. I have described everything to the best of my ability.
