1959 Rare Marx Ben Hur Two Swords, Scabbards & Shields Playset Mint In Box

This is a completely unused, Mint-in-Box set that looks as shiny and good as the day it was new! Imagine being a young child in 1959 when the dramatic Ben Hur movie came out.

You would have this great double set to dress up as gladiators and duel your friends! The shields measure 12.5 in diameter and are beautifully lithographed embossed and curved tin with nice decoration and large BEN HUR wording at the top. They are made of heavy gauge tin, have a rolled edge around the outside, and a sturdy metal grip handle on the back. 18 long and are made of a sturdy plastic with nicely designed handles. The scabbards are very beautifully decorated lithographed tin with plastic loop belt straps on the backsides to strap to your belt!

This is a great set that is hard to find in such good condition! All contained in the original box which is in very nice condition overall save for the writing on the box. CONDITION: This BEN HUR dueling gladiator playset is completely original and unused.

The coloring is still as bright as the day it was issued. There is no damage to any of the pieces, only the lightest of scratching from storage in the box. The original box has been opened at one end but it still very solid with original cardboard insert to separate the two sets of toys. This is a great piece for your collection.
