Vintage Marx Wagon Train with box-#5000
Up for sale is a vintage Marx Wagon Train set #5000 complete with box. This set contains 6 covered wagons complete with 6 crème whip drivers fully intact with whips. Flint and the Major are in very good condition. All wagon canopies are in very good condition with all tabs intact. The tin litho cabin is original and is complete with porch, chimney and back brace bar.
The 2 lower tabs on the porch are missing, but still locks in fine, Same issue with the chimney, 2 lower tabs are broken off. The yellow accessories are the original flat yellow, not the newer shiny yellow.
All figures and horses are in good condition. 1 crème figure and 1 reddish brown figure of same pose with raised tomahawk have a clean break in bowstring that can be repaired. The box is in fair-good condition.
All corners are good, cover has been repaired in 1 corner and there is a small hole in bottom. The assembly sheet is fair and the 8 playset bags are in fair to good condition.Each blue hitch has 1 good rail and 1 with a clean break, which can be repaired. 2 red hitches each have 2 side rails with clean breaks, the 3rd has 1 with a clean break, the other side has a piece broken off.
As far as I know, pretty sure I covered all issues. The bow and arrows are in very good condition, as are the dead horses. There are 10 sections of the vintage fence.
