Vintage Marx Sears 6059 Fort Apache Play Set (No Box) From 1964

Offered here at no reserve is one of my favorite playsets; the Marx 54mm Sears 6059 from 1964. This is the smaller of the giant Fort Apache sets that was offered over a two year period; a first issue set due to light blue color long coat cavalry. All of key parts are there. 36-star tin flag with headquarters; medical supply wagon; cannon has firing pin with set of 10 shells; four revised Indian poses for 1962; pack horse set with reins (split); all four gate hinges intact (gate has stress cracks at sign); six long coat cavalry in five poses, and; blue wagon driver with intact whip. Includes the ten piece accessory set that matches the red fort (rare color).

Minor play wear including slight damage to accessories, paint and or weapon feather rein splits. Correct number of pioneers (20-flat blue); 29 Indians (14-yellow, 15-red-brown) with two totem poles that match each set Indians.
