This is a very nice, RARE, complete Marx plastic/metal toy Union (Blue) Civil war cavalry set with original box, including several similar pieces from the Confederate army set as well. The original box, for the Union (Blue) war items, has some staining, age, and slight cardboard separation, as would be expected. But it is intact overall, except for one side flap which is missing.

The color of the box is nice red and blue with soldiers and union & confederate flags on all sides. The hats, pistols, sabres, scabbards, and Union army rifle are all intact and work/perform their function. No workability issues with any of these pieces. The Union (blue) hat has a slight indent in the back of the hat. The Union rifle is stamped with Marx Oct 5 1853.

The original box measures 28" in length x 9" across x 3.5 wide. Ask any questions as needed.
