VINTAGE MARX 1950s CAPTAIN GALLANT PLAY SET. WITH TIN LITHO FORT AND 60-65 MM FIGURES. PLUS MANY OF THE ACCESSORIES FROM THE PLAY SET.

This very rare Marx play set I think is circa 1956 when Marx was still manufacturing their play set figures from this set to 60mm - some are even 65mm as you can see from the picture of a couple of the figures with the tape measure next to them. The set is not complete.

Here are the pieces that are included. Tin Litho Fort (missing one long wall as you can see in the 1st and 5th pictures). All 26 plastic figures - 16 French Foreign Legion Soldiers; 10 Arabs. 1 Flag and Flag Pole. Here are the pieces that are known to be missing.

One Long Wall to the Fort. Rifles for the Rifle Rack. 3-Leaf Fern (The base for it is included). Support Poles for the Awning.

As you can see, most of the pieces are included. A very rare play set that is a "must have" for the serious toy collector!
