Vintage 1959 Marx Sears Battle Of The Blue And Gray Play Set #4760 Boxed 1 Owner. Up for sale, I have a Marx 1959 Battle of the Blue and Gray Play Set. I have went through this set and it is about 97% complete.

The figures are all matching colors and set is in excellent condition. The box is very nice, and has the cardboard dividers inside, along with assembly instructions and 1 original figure bag. What I noted as I went through the set.

There are 51 gray and 51 blue figures, including the riders. The stabilizer wire for the mansion is missing, and the front porch has one white vase broken off, and this is located behind the pillars at the right side of base. The silver cannon carriage that hooks to the caisson has a broken hitch, but I put the broken loop hitch in a accessory bag so it can be glued. One of the brown spike barricades has one broken spike. There are 4 damaged blue figures and 4 damaged gray figures.

The blue ones are missing the bayonets that extend off the gun ends, and the gray flag guys are missing the flags. This is a beautiful set and there is not much to get to make it perfect. What you see is what you get. I have done my best looking over the set, but if I missed something it is not intentional, just an oversight on my part.
