Fresh from an attic-NOT a put-together set! In over 30 years of playset collecting-and I've had many of the'rare' ones-Untouchables, Ben-Hur, Zorro, etc etc. But this is the first boxed Marx Jungle Jim I've come across. Not quite complete, but so close!!! Very light play wear-if at all, on some pieces!

Excellent box-top is a little darker than the sides from storage, but unbroken handle, tight-no tape or repair at all. Here's the details: Figures: Missing characters although Tamba is present and lacking one native porter. One of the spear throwers is one I added since that figure was also missing and he is in a very slightly different shade. Has both square huts and round hut-excellent on all and 5 pegs with pins and both ladders. Complete stockade missing one hinge and one door.

Accessories great shape including the often lost small ones kettle has short legs. Animals all in excellent shape as well and needs gorilla and baby lion maybe a couple monkeys? All ferns and palms in the great, early dark and flat colors. Must've run short on the Jungle Jim flag when this set was on the production line so it was put together with a Jungle flag usually used in the standard jungle sets of the era. Many, but not all of the sp yellow accessories are there as well.
