This necktie is from the 1960s and comes straight from the Marx offices in New York City. I received four ties in two styles from a former Marx employee and the story is that Louis Marx had samples made to see if he might have them made on a larger scale. To my knowledge , he did not so there are only a few sample ties out there. You can see by the labels it is pure silk and is Red stitching on a Grey tie.
