This is a vintage Marx miniature WWII playset called Battleground. Maybe based on the movie of the same name. It says hand painted by artists in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong. It is in played with condition and many of the figures have broken guns etc. The box is rough with split corners.

I do not know if it is complete as there is no list of contents, but the items mentioned on the box top are present. It is a pretty neat world war two item for your collection.
