This'covered' wagon was included in the early Custer's Last Stand playsets before they started producing the'Custer' beige colored wagons which most collectors are more familiar with. The'covered' wagon comes with the horses attached to the hitch, the wagon cover and the small accessories as shown in the photos. The small accessories include a'water bucket', a'water barrel', a'wash basin' and a'tool box'. There is also a wagon'seat' for the wagon. The wagon, horses, hitch and small accessories are in'excellent' condition and the light'blue cover is in'very good to'excellent' condition with two small'nicks' visible in the photos.

This wagon would be from the #4670 playset as compared to the #6014 playset. However both playset numbers had a varying list of contents. Each had either the'chocolate brown' or'Custer beige' colored wagons.

No definitive consensus on the 45mm figures as some playsets excluded the mounted poses and some included them. And yes some had'cream' colored drivers and others the'light blue' drivers. I can only assume that Marx employees used old stock from leftover wagons, covers and drivers from Gunsmoke, Wagon Train and Fort Apache playsets, and 45mm figures from the early Fort Apache and Alamo releases. I assume that once Marx made the new colored wagons they also used the new color of plastic'light blue' for their 45mm Cavalrymen as well as their Civil War Centennial soldiers and the'reverse' Confederate figures along with the wagon'drivers' all in light blue.

And even among those figures there are slight color variations. The wagon body, hitch and small accessories are all'chocolate brown' in color, the harness horses are'brown' and'cream' in color (one each) and the'cover is'light blue'. None of the other accessory items are included in this listing but are for illustrative purposes only. I only accept Pay Pal at this time. At this time I only accept Pay Pal.
