I spent the fall of 1963 staring at this awesome playset in the Sears Wish Book, and I thought I didn't get it on Christmas morning. It was the last present I opened.

I don't think I've been so happy since! I later ordered some additional soldiers, which were the same figures but molded in softer plastic than the original hard plastic ones that came with the set. Those are included 12 Japanese--photographed separately so you can see the slight color uniform color variation.

Some of the hard plastic soldiers are damaged as shown in the photos 15 Marines have some damage such as broken gun tips, missing weapons, missing base, etc. 17 Japanese soldiers are damaged. See groups on right in photos. Some pieces went missing over the years, but it's substantially complete except for flagpole and American flag.
