1952 MARX WESTERN TOWN NO. 4229 or 4230 BOXED w FLAT TIN! I try to take clear pictures in indirect sunlight that clearly show the items natural color as well as any flaws so please be sure to view the picture(s) BELOW THE DESCRIPTION in order to judge the condition for yourself. I will note below any flaws not readily visible in the pictures.

Please feel free to ask any questions as well. CONDITION NOTES: Aside from a scratch on the reddish shingled roof, the tin is excellent showing only minor marks here and there from storage.

Most of the tabs are flat and none of the tin has been bent except the sign, as you can see. The figures are unused and in excellent condition as are the accessories.

The saddles and bridles have a sticky tacky feel to them and they have stained their paper bag, as you can see. The instructions and the bags have tears and are fragile. The left side of the box has some tape repairs and the bottom has a section that was torn along with some tape residue. The box has other tape residue on the sides and light shelf wear but it still displays well.

You wont see such a rare piece, especially one as nice as this, come along very often. Please review the detailed pictures below to judge the condition for yourself. Please note that the camera picks up lint and dust resting on the toys and accessories that may appear as flaws. Please examine each picture carefully for actual flaws keeping in mind that most of these toys look far better in person than they do in the pictures. I will note in the CONDITION NOTES any details or flaws that are not readily apparent in the pictures but please keep in mind that I sometimes miss a small problem.
